How can I change my email and push notification settings on ChallengeLoop?
You can change your email and push notification settings by going to “Settings” in the left panel and then clicking on “Notification Settings”.
I forgot my password. How can I reset it?
You can reset your password by clicking on “Sign in” and then clicking on the “Forgot My Password” link. This will take you to a page where you can reset your password.
How do I change my email address or connect to my Facebook & Twitter accounts?
You can change your email address and push notification settings by going to “Settings” in the left panel and then clicking on “Account Settings”.
What is ChallengeLoop?
We are the first iPhone app and website to provide a complete challenge platform. With one central place for participation (comments, photos and videos) and full integration with Facebook and Twitter, ChallengeLoop helps thousands of people achieve their goals every day.
Does ChallengeLoop cost money?
Nope! Both the ChallengeLoop iPhone app and the website are completely free.
Who can see my challenges?
When you create a challenge, you can either choose to share it on ChallengeLoop or make it private. If you share it on ChallengeLoop, details about that challenge will show up in the feed of people in your loop and be viewable to anyone with the URL to that challenge. All open challenges can be seen on your ChallengeLoop profile.
If you choose to not share it on ChallengeLoop by pressing the lock on the create a challenge screen, no one will be able to see that challenge page other than the participants (even if you share the link).
Who is in my loop?
If you are connected to Facebook, your Facebook friends will be in your loop. You can also add someone to your loop by inviting him to a challenge or going to his ChallengeLoop profile and clicking “Add to My Loop”. Anyone who you are in a peer to peer challenge with will be automatically added to your loop. People who are in prize challenges with you will not automatically be added to your loop.
How do I add my friends to challenges?
If you are connected to Facebook, you will be able to add your Facebook friends to challenges. If you would like to add other friends to your challenges, you can also invite your contacts from your phone.
Why aren't my Facebook friends receiving wall posts inviting them to my challenge?
Facebook has restrictions on the number of wall posts you can post per day. If you invite a large number of people, Facebook will only allow a certain number of those invitation wall posts to go through automatically. ChallengeLoop queue's the other invitations so that when Facebook lifts it's posting hold, the wall posts will go through.
How do I cancel a peer to peer challenge?
On the iPhone, you can cancel a challenge on the “Active Challenges” screen by clicking the “+” button and clicking on “Cancel Challenge”. On the website, you can cancel a challenge by clicking on the "Cancel Challenge" link to the right of every challenge page.
What are “Prize Challenges”?
We’ve created Prize Challenges so that you can join fun challenges hosted by health and fitness bloggers, online personalities and companies and be able to win prizes for your participation!
What does it mean to follow challenges?
When you follow a challenge, any updates for that challenge will show up in your feed.
Can I edit a challenge once I create it?
Yes if you create the challenge, on the iPhone you can edit it at any time by clicking on the gear on the top right side of the active challenge page. On the web, you can edit a challenge you create by clicking on "Edit Challenge" on the right side of the challenge page under "Actions".
What appears in my feed?
Challenge activity from your own challenges, challenge activity involving people in your loop, and challenge activity that you choose to follow appear in your feed.
How do I delete a comment?
On the iPhone, you can delete your own comment by swiping your finger from right to left over the comment. You should see a red delete button appear. Once you click on the delete button, the comment will be deleted. On the web, when you scroll over a comment, you'll see an "x" appear.
How do I set a photo as “primary” so that it shows up at the top of the challenge page?
On the iPhone, you can set a photo as “primary” on your own challenge by scrolling through the cover images at the top of the challenge page and pressing anywhere on the image. A star will appear in the lower right hand corner of the image. Once you click the star, it will prompt you with a message asking if you’d like to make it the primary photo. On the web, you can set a photo as "primary by clicking on that photo in the challenge activity and then clicking "Make Primary Photo" on the bottom right corner of the lightbox.
How do I remove someone from my loop?
You can remove someone from your loop by going to that person’s profile page and clicking the button “Remove from My Loop”.
Is my activity automatically shared on Facebook/Twitter?
No, your activity is not automatically shared on Facebook or Twitter. Every time you create a challenge or add a comment, photo, or video, you can turn off sharing for that post by unselecting the Facebook & Twitter icons at the bottom of the screen.
