Welcome to the Sweet Tooth, Sweet Life 2012 Closeout Workout Challenge! As we begin this last month of 2012, I thought it would be fun to put together a bit of a challenge that doesn't necessarily focus on navigating around the holidays and focus instead on closing out 2012 with a bang. SO, I am challenging everyone to complete 2,012 reps of exercise by the end of 2012!

Choose 2-5 exercises that you will add up the repetitions for to complete 2,012 reps (i.e., "I will complete 2,012 reps of push-ups, burpees, jump squats, etc..."). Leave a comment or add a photo by downloading the iPhone app (itunes.apple.com/us/app/challengeloop/id527824600 or visiting this page on the web every time you do an exercise letting me know how many reps you did. I will choose 3 winners at random who show that they completed 2,012 reps on the challenge page to receive the prizes below!

The challenge officially starts December 1, 2012 and runs through December 31st, 2012.

The winners will be chosen at random, based on those who fully complete the challenge.

Can you believe it, challengers? The 2012 Closeout Workout Challenge has officially come to a close! I hope all of you had a blast busting out some extra reps this week, and whether or not you reached your goal or not, you should be proud of the work you've done. Thanks so much for following along on this challenge with me. Here's to a wonderful happy, and healthy 2013 for all of us!

Yesterday (Day 7): 125 push-ups, 125 sit-ups, 50 pull-ups, 50 trx pistol squats
Today (Day 8): 150 push-ups, 150 sit-ups, 100 pull-ups, 50 trx pistol squats
Total Reps= 2100
Finished just in time for the New Year! :)

Finished off the challenge today with a mix of chin-ups and lunges!! It puts me at a total of 2,015 reps!

The last 500 sit-ups are complete for 2012 situps and 2012 seconds of planking and all reps were witnessed by LE who has conceded to defeat.

Almost forgot to add it in -- I did 50 jumping jacks tonight! That makes 4090 reps total for the month! =)

I have to make things hard for myself, but..................got it done. Vertical loading with peripheral heart action workout, three sets of the following. The count:
Squats - 20
Bench Jumps - 20
Push Ups - 20
Bicycle crunches - 20
Lateral Raises - 20
Calf Raises - 20
Resistance Band Curls - 20
Stability Ball Squats - 20
Push Ups with P.U. stands - 20
Floor Crunches - 20
and a final 20 standard push ups -
Today's TOTAL: 620. previous 1400 plus 620 = 2020.

Thanks Courtney for the challenge. What a way to jump start the new year. I'll be checking in from time to time. Happy New Year everyone and Praise God for his precious Son Jesus, by which there is no other name man can be saved.
